June 23, 2009 at 8:02 pm #142183Hi everyone! Thank you so much for great help in the process of building my site tversover.no. Things are finally starting to work fairly ok, but there still is one major problem.
I have posted a few other posts about this, but I hope you find it OK that I post this again in order to give you the latest update on the problems. I’m posting it in the General folder in case this I a general problem with several templates. I am using the JA Rutile template.
My problem is related to Internet Explorer 7.0 and older:
The thing is that the description text (before the read more-button) is hidden behind the image on my front page. The front page is constructed with the modules JA NEWS and JA NEW FRONTPAGE. In the article itself everything looks fine. Another thing is that the titles are much bigger in IE (also IE 8.0) than in i.e. Firefox.I’m attaching a picture with screenshots to explain what this is all about. As you can see the text is cut in both the Ja News FP (big) and the JA News (smaller)
I would be so grateful for any help on how to solve this!
Have a nice day.

November 25, 2009 at 6:24 pm #324993Fixed!
Just add float: left to the ja.news.fp.css
#jahl-newsitem img {
margin: 2px 20px 0px 0;
float: left;
