:confused: Using Joomla 1.5.12 – For some strange reason, the number of characters displayed by JANews in the intro-text section is inconsistent with the specified amount, and is completely blank on some occasions (both on Front page and others). Once the article is drilled-down, the content is displayed properly. Anyone experiencing the same problem? I tried to copy into Notepad and re-paste it into the article (thinking that maybe some invisible formatting characters are the cause) but that didn’t help. :confused:

Probably it’s the encoding.
Try to see your article with “source” to find the wrong html tags.

A. Make sure you have a system-readmore put in or it can’t show the ‘intro text…. and B. make sure that that readmore is far enough into the article that it passes the specified JA News character amount.
