Hey there,
Just a quick question.
On the home page with the JA news module, you can show all your sections travel, sports etc
Now how do you change the first article that shows within section in the news module?
I can seem to figure it out. I would like to be able to change the first article that is shown within each section of the module?
It might be something really simple.
Please let me know.
Cheers
Timbor.

November 24, 2007 at 6:04 am #233347Do you want to change it or create a new one?
November 26, 2007 at 5:03 am #233417I dont think anyone understands what I mean.
If you look at the teline demo, on the home page, if you look at the WORLD section, you see the picture of the bald guy. That relates to an article.
How u do make another article show at the front, for example in the same WORLD section?? thats what I would like to know. I can not seem to be able to find out what is going one.
Cheers,
TImbor

November 27, 2007 at 1:38 am #233482Just go to your joomla administrator panel, select Content->Content Manager, and add new article to the World category.
November 27, 2007 at 5:30 am #233496Basically I have created articles in my backend, and I have changed the order of how they are supposed to appear on the front end.
Now when i log on to my home page, I have all my categorys listed, and on the home page it does represe t the changes that I have made in the back end.
I want to show differant articles at the start of each category that is in the news module.
Again I have re ordered my articles in all my categories in the backend.
But the order does not change in the news module.
What do I have to do so i can show different articles at the start of each category, that is listed in the News module??
cheers.

November 27, 2007 at 5:41 am #233498Do i have to create a new article within my categories to change what is displayed in the module?
If that is the case, because I have just been playing around with it, and that looks like what I have to do!
Seems like a bit of a pain, is there anything else that I can do?
Cheers
Timbor.

November 27, 2007 at 9:52 am #233512For each category, latest articles are displayed. You only need create new articles and publish and assign to appropriate category. Those articles will display automatically. If you want to show articles on headline, just mark “show on frontpage”.
