Hi edroga,

What you stated is not clear. Did you mean, if you click on the image, you will see the headline and part of the text? If that is what you want, there is a module for that. It is called the Hot Topic.

Check the vertical images in the section called Hot Topic. You can clone (copy) the Hot Topic module, you can select the category that will go into the Hot Topic module, and place the copy of the Hot Topic module where you want it to be.

Ok thanks for letting us know just how to do this step by step? But it must not have the advanced form, it can be simple and transparent background to the title of the article, whether there is any easy way?

Sorry, the JA News Frontpage does not use the features of the Hot Topic that
you want to include in the Front Page. If I have an idea what your site looks like, I might be able to give suggestions.I know only how to create separate Hot Topic modules. And, you can place that at the top position of the “ja_news position” — above the Front Page module and the News module.

Unfortunately, we cannot speculate in abstract what you want to do. Providing a link to the Demo page does not help me.

If you have not yet installed a Joomla 1.5.x – Teline II site, it is not the easiest template to use. As you can see, it has the most number of posts here because it is more complex than the usual Joomlart template.

I would suggest that the first thing you do is to see if using the QuickStart Kit install, you can at least get the same as the Demo Page that you linked above. Try to learn how it works. Then, when you mastered the details, you can start modifying it.

I am more like you, mostly asking questions, to improve my own webpage.

He may be able to give you the detailed instructions on how to achieve the Front Page module that you want including articles with the Hot Topic format within the Front Page module.

wooohanetworks is the expert here in Joomlart. Based from his post, he knows everything about Joomlart template and Joomla as well as many other stuff about websites.. He has downloaded many of the Templates and the Extensions, and most likely have tried most of them. So, perhaps he is your best bet to help you with what you want.

that means he will either solve your issues very quickly or will refer you to Hung, the head of Joomlart. From what I read, Hung reads wooohanetworks posts promptly and Hung is very grateful whenever wooohanetworks brings the problems of customers to Joomlart’s attention.
