Im trying to create a min-height (or some other) property that will allow me to ensure that images line up reguardless of headline character count in headline and or image size.

Hi jollyjollyjolly!
While setting up a minimum height will accomplish this, it will stretch some of the images and make the photos look unprofessional.
As you know, having professional looking photos on a site is key to making sales!
I would suggest you consider formatting each image separately to fit the line up.
That is only my opinion, please advise me how you wish to proceed.
