Hello,

    As said in the title.

    How can I have it show images from other sites?

    Thanks!

    Can you not include url image references within the article(s) itself?

    Hello,

    Unfortunately, I’m working on an offline site.

    I’d like to know if anyone could give some leads until I put this site online and give the actual URL.

    Thanks!

    @sushismb,

    JA News Featured will show the image in the article. I just checked your site, however there is no image in article.

    Please try to add the image into the article, it should show in front-end then.

    Please let me know how it goes.

    Hello Nazario A

    Sorry for the misunderstanding, it’s not the feature module, it’s the JA NEWS PRO module.

    For example /gourmet/restaurants/945-chef-tatungs-private-dining.html, which includes images from other website, doesn’t show on the top page. Although it shows properly in its individual page.

    I hope for your continuous help!

    Hello Nazario A

    Additional information;

    I checked the source of the image that doesn’t show on the top page and it looks like this below.

    <img class=”0″ src=”http://www.coco.ph/http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5283/5340212971_6b18a11355.jpg” alt=”シェフ・タトゥンでプライベート・ダイニング” width=”200″ height=”100″/>

    No wonder it doesn’t show because it seems like the module automatically adds the domain name on top of the actual URL of the image.

    I hope there is a fix to this.

    Thanks!

    You can try to backup and open the modulesmod_janewsprohelpershelper.php file, comment or remove 363th line:
$image = JURI::base() . $image;
Then clear all caches (module cache and JAT3 cache).

    Remember to take a backup of this file first.
