Hi there,

Been banging my head for few days over this. The same problem was threaded at http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/ja-news-module-go-to-blog-section-not-to-a-table-section-of-articles/ but the solution stated didnot work at my end. it said as follows

Open file:
modules/mod_janews.php

Find line (275):
Code:

$link = sefRelToAbs( ‘index.php?option=com_content&task=category&sectionid=’.$rows[0]->sectionid.’&id=’. $rows[0]->catid . $Itemid );

Replace with
Code:

$link = sefRelToAbs( ‘index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&sectionid=’.$rows[0]->sectionid.’&id=’. $rows[0]->catid . $Itemid );

Well i din find it at line 275 for me it was seen at line 366. I changed it as stated above. but it din work. The url is http://www.bvc.ac.in/mafsu1

A solution to this will make things easier for me. If required please feel free to ask for login details or server details.

I too am facing the same problem – would it be possible if you can either post a fix on the board or can you help edit the specific file that is also attached with this forum post

The specific line is located on 366 and it ends up producing an error on the site

HI there,
I’m also trying to obtain the same blog section effect on JA Topaz instead of table section (rather ugly: http://www.joomlart.com/demo/#templates.joomlart.com/ja_topaz ), but in my version of mod_janews.php there is no such line 275, as the file is much shorter.

Any help would be extremely appreciated.
