Hi,
For a client I am doing some work for I have a question about JA Teline and the JA News module concerning how it loads images.
The module works very well and if in articles showing in the module the {mosimage} tag is used it fits all perfectly.
Now here’s the problem. The content my client prepares has images, but not through the {mosimage} tag. Is JA News capable of showing images done with the <img> tag?
Hopefully someone can give an answer or a clue in the right direction.
With best regards,
Piet Nutbey

1 user says Thank You to bennitos for this useful post
January 15, 2009 at 7:55 pm #286681I have been asking for support for ja news for months now, and all of my posts have been ignored.
matter of fact , many people are asking for support and this forum simply ignores them.

Actually i did answer to your other post, myself i did not know the sollution and i recommended to use the premium support as that usually works better to get help.
You did not want to take the effort to make a ticket into the premium support system.
January 15, 2009 at 8:02 pm #286685you offer free extentions
why do you not give support on these extentions?
so you release a buggy ext and then charge for support
and release them without any instruction on how to usethen when a user wants to use them they have to post…then you get a message that says
premium support is available for paid subscribers.so basically then you are at the mercy of the publics knowledge…the developers can, but wont help.
I’m not complaining about free, free is good
..but I WAS a PAID member and still got little or no supportbennitos Friendbennitos

“you offer free extentions” why is that relevant as this thread goes about JA NEWS and JA TELINE, both they are not free and for members only, your question was if i remember also about JA NEWS.
“but I WAS a PAID member and still got little or no support” You WAS a member and HAD the option to use the premium support but YOU decided you couldnt be bothered to use it.
Just my opinion..
January 15, 2009 at 8:25 pm #286690ja news IS a “FREE” extention module
take a gander at the free extentions sectionbtw
its version is labeled wrong AND has been for months
it states 1.1.3 and its really 1.1.2the developers have abandoned fixing anyhting with the free version.
I think I am abandoning it as well
I wont be held hostage.
I have accounts at all/most of the template and ext sites, spending money is no issue for me but I expect a product that works and people to answer my questions.
My version of ja news was broken out of the box..as were MANY other users,
Joomlart neither fixes this nor apologizes.they just ignore the forum unless you are a paid member
because thats the only way to get “premium” support for a “free” product.bennitos Friendbennitos

January 15, 2009 at 9:41 pm #286698stick to your previous post all you like
it doesnt change the fact that JA wont give you support for their free products unless you pay them.
and I think they purposely release faulty modules in order for you to pay them to get them fixed
surley after months of complaints about version number and bugs they could just upload the proper files wihtin milliseconds
instead of making you submit trouble tickets and fixing one user at a timeeither because they dont care or they want more money
smells fishy
