Hello,
Ive install News Module on my website with Xenia Gamer.
First Question :
I need to do that ?
<blockquote>- Go to your template’s index.php, replace
<?php mosMainBody(); ?>
with
<?php
global $mainframe, $option;
$m_menu = $mainframe->get( “menu” );
$m_params = new mosParameters( $m_menu->params );$m_intro = $m_params->def( “intro”, 4 );
$m_leading = $m_params->def( “leading”, 1 );
if ( $option != “com_frontpage” || $m_intro || $m_leading) {
?>
<?php mosMainBody(); ?>
<?php } ?>
<?php if ( mosCountModules(“ja-news”) ) { ?>
<div id=”ja-newswrap”>
<?php mosLoadModules ( “ja-news”, -2 ); ?>
</div>
<?php } ?>
– Add
<link rel=”stylesheet” type=”text/css” href=”<?php echo $mosConfig_live_site; ?>/modules/ja_news/ja-news.css” />
within the <head> tags of the template.</blockquote>Second Question

March 24, 2007 at 5:11 pm #216435Hello,
This template has a very involved configuration, by far one of the most difficult ones I have worked on to date. The only way you will get your site to look like the demo is to download the set-up instructions and follow them to the letter.
Here is the link to my site that uses this template http://www.victoryfireworks.com/newsite itโs almost complete and will go live soonโฆ even though the ja-news module works great my client did not want it so it is un-published, but works perfectly.
Again you must follow the set-up instructions exactly or you will not have any luck with this template.
Download them here
Oh and make sure you use the news module for gamerโฆ.
I hope that helps

March 25, 2007 at 4:04 am #216452The instruction in JA News module applies for integrating JA News with other templates than Xenia. For Xenia templates, you only need follow the instruction in Xenia user guide document (7. JA News Module) to setup JA News module.
March 25, 2007 at 5:33 pm #216468Thanks for your help ! ๐
I use the JA News for gamer and I red the Xenia user guide, but now I have a problem about a sentence in the guide :
<blockquote>he first part of the module is JA Ajax Headline, which shows the latest frontpage news items in a rollover box. </blockquote>
I don’t understand very well from wich category the news are taked for the rollover box.
What is the lastest frontpage news items ?
Thanks a lot, again ๐

March 26, 2007 at 3:01 am #216502Frontpage news are the content you mark to show on your frontpage. You could see frontpage news items inside your administrator panel, menu “Content->Frontpage manager”.
March 31, 2007 at 10:23 am #216925ok now it’s working, thank you very much for your help ๐
