I have been trying to figure out how to get rid of the “<< 1 2 >>” above the JA News Frontpage articles in the screenshot below.

I simply can’t figure out how to do it after an hour of tinkering with the settings. Can someone please assist?

    Thanks

    Hi stewarttodd,
If you are using Joomla 1x, the links in my signature below may be of some help in configuring xenia.

    Hi stewarttodd !
It’s best if you post link of your site.

Sorry – the site is http://www.fortheloveofport.com, but the site is offline for this template upgrade. That’s why i included the screenshot instead.

If I can’t find out how to turn that bullet point and navigation off prior to launch, I guess I can revisit the issue after launch when folks on this board can see what’s going on.

However, if anyone has any ideas, I would be most happy to hear them!

    The “<< 1 2 >>” you’ve mentioned is just default Joomla! pagination.
You have 2 options to disable it:
    1. Show more intros on your front page. Goto Menu >> Home >> then set Intros to 5 – 10.
    2. Hide pagination on front page by go to Menu >> Home >> Advance (on right side)
Then set Pagination Results to Hide.

    I appreciate the response.

Hope this isn’t a completely dumb question (as I consider myself a “little” Joomla savy), but what Menu >> Home >> Advance links are you talking about? I’m running Joomla 1.0.11, and don’t see any menus like that…

    Am I missing something?

    Thanks again for your help!

Ok – i found out where the pagination is. For anyone else who might be looking, go to Menu –> Main Menu and click on (in my case) the “HOME” item. Parameters and settings will appear on the right, so just turn off pagination and set number of links to 0.
