December 27, 2010 at 4:20 pm #157920Using the new JA News Pro 1.0.1, with ‘linear theme’, the sub-cat aligns on the left leaving a big space on the ja-news-1 at the frontpage. See the attached image with the area marked ‘x’ . I want the way the tabs were with version 1.0.0

December 28, 2010 at 7:39 am #368889Try add this at end of template.css file as I can see styling for specific part missing::
/* Control Buttons */
.ja-zin .ja-newspro-control {width: 34px;height: 20px;position: absolute;bottom: 2px;right: 6px;}
.ja-zin .ja-newspro-control a {display: block;float: left;width: 14px;height: 14px;text-indent: -1000em;background: url(../../../images/back-btn.png) no-repeat center #f0f0f0;border: 1px solid #ccc;}
.ja-zin .ja-newspro-control a.ja-newspro-control-next {float: right;background: url(../../../images/next-btn.png) no-repeat center #f0f0f0;}
.ja-zin .ja-newspro-control a:hover,
.ja-zin .ja-newspro-control a:active,
.ja-zin .ja-newspro-control a:focus {background-color: #000;border: 1px solid #000;}Also, Please re-check if linear theme is assigned as I can mainly see attributes of default theme

I am sure I have linear theme, but the problem is still there(Look at at the waste space in the ja-news-1)

December 28, 2010 at 5:48 pm #368966Will it be possible for you to please pm me superadmin details as it seems that If I add in required css attributes at end of template.css file, it would probably make it look fine 🙂

December 29, 2010 at 8:57 am #369110I took a deeper look and could see that template override file isnt applying due to which I have copied the style attributes at end of template.css file along with background image path corrections and it seems fine now 🙂
Cheers

December 29, 2010 at 1:09 pm #369139Thanks a lot, you are good:D. Is there something that I should know for future upgrades because you said something about ‘template override files isn’t applying along with background image path corrections’

As it seems, Nothing much 🙂 as this is capability provided by Joomla of creation of template overrides so there have been times when override doesn’t render properly but you can always ask us for support in such cases 🙂
Cheers
