Last night, I had a headache, trying to figure out what can make this module work fine. I read all the posts reported so far on the issue (Fatal error: …. line 117). In the end, this is what worked for me.

I used the linear option – This is my favourite. (This is not for the default layout). For other layouts, check the link at the bottom of this post.

1- Disable the Ja News – Default Layout

2- Open JA News – Linear Layout and apply the settings, as in the attachment below:
