I have a problem with links in JA NEWS PRO module.

I have this module in homepage, and i want it to link to the article inside of its section, only showing the modules for that section.

It seems to work for some items, but not for others or no apparent reason.

Some of my links in http://www.elocuent.com/cms2 direct to homepage again (detailed text of article shows at the bottom of homepage with all homepage modules over it, you have to scroll wayyyy down to see it, , not as detailed text with only the section modules).

it seems the link from inside the homepage module redirects to homage again

Itdoes not seem to be related to section, as some articles in a sectio work and others don’t.

    ITEM NOT WORKING:

If you link in the homepage module:
    http://elocuent.com/cms2/index.php/102-elocuent-cabecera/mensaje-y-oratoria/construccion/101-la-regla-de-3-en-oratoria

This is surprising, as elocuent-cabecera category does not had that item id number, but 83

but if i go to the section, and find the same item as a detailed text with only section modules, url differs but still the same item ide 102, but differ ten name : 102-mensaje-y-oratoria , wich is corret. Mensaje y oratorio’s category ID is 102.

    http://elocuent.com/cms2/index.php/mensaje/102-mensaje-y-oratoria/construccion/101-la-regla-de-3-en-oratoria

This is the url i want to get from the homepage.

    ITEM WORKING FINE:

If you link from inside homepage module yo get this link

    http://elocuent.com/cms2/index.php/casos/120-personal-branding/90-inocencio-qchenchoq-arias

and it works fine getting you yo section/category 120 with no problems exactly the same url you wold get from browsing to the item in the section. . .

    Hello elocuent,

You need to create a menu linking to a section/category which contains the article in JA News Pro. If article in JA News Pro module isn’t in a section/category that is linked to a menu, it’ll show homepage when you click on that article.

    Best regards.

Hi, all my articles with this problema are in suvbcategories (they have a father category that is already in the menu), do i need to put every single category in the menu?

ok, i just solvet it aparetnly adding a new “inicio-Home” menu element with a link to a “list all categories” menu item.

I’ll just keet it hidden at the end of the menu
