excuse me for my english, i have a problem with Ja News Pro Module. When i change setting and click on save the system not respond! Same think for Ja New Feature Module.
I follow many guide posted on forum but the result it’s same.
Pls help me i don’t know that i do!

Hi Enrico,
I think your English is great and you express your needs fine. I have not seen any of my templates refuse to save changes unless there are things which must be filled in first or no changes have been made. Can you confirm that the New Pro module is working on your site properly? And can you show me a screenshot of the news pro settings panel and highlight the change you are trying to make etc.
You have of course refreshed the jat3 cache? It may be wise to turn the compression of js and files minify off and retest. (Template profiles) Sometimes these compression tools when enabled can cause unpredictable results and effects with module operations.

i’m going step by step for your questions:
<<Can you confirm that the New Pro module is working on your site properly?>>: i say you that portal is new installation on platform Linux and core Joomla 1.7.3.(http://www.meteoportaleitalia.it)
Every modules/plugings/componentes are dowloaded by club member page joomlart and they setup was going OK without problem or error message by core system.
The Ja New Pro i try to change setting for my necessities but don’t save, only one operation i can do: “publish or unpublish” clicking on relative module image, every other operation not permit.

i don’t make other change on profile all rest is default.
I follow post where specified to change permission on all file ../modules/mod_janewspro/profiles/*.* in chmod 757 but result not change, module don’t save my change.
I send to administrator Joomart all credential to access my portal to help me.

il link del backend te li invio con le credenziali in prvt msg. Per quanto concerne plugin di sicurezza c’è solo Jsecure che aggiunge una stringa ulteriore al classico indirizzo di amministrazione joomla…
Ho notato che il modulo Ja_News_Pro non è installato, ma ho verificato il problema sul modulo ja_news_featured
Prova questa soluzione dal pannello di configurazione globale abilita l’user FTP inserendo i tuoi dati ricevuti dal tuo hosting provider
prima di fare questo dai i permessi temporanei al configuration.php a 777 in questo modo può salvare dal backend la tua configurazione, fatto questo rimetti il file nella vecchia configurazione chmod.
Ho seguito il tuo consiglio facendo quanto detto:
– set chmod 777 al configuration.php;
– messi i parametri ftp come da regola;
– reset chmod al file configuration.php
e si qui nessun problema, ma nel momento in cui provo a far l’installazione di un modulo/componente… esce fuori questo:
JFTP: :store: Risposta negativa
Attenzione: fallito spostamento del file!
JFTP: :mkdir: Risposta negativa
JFTP: :chmod: Risposta negativa
Impossibile creare destinazione

the proble that i have is every same: the modules of JA News Pro and JA News Future (other ja work well) in my site not permit to save setting.
With Mr. Pavit, We have tried to do some work but despite these attempts, the result is always the same, the modules are not saveable.
I did this morning a test install, scruple, in a sub folder joomla 1.5.25 with everything you need to package for JA teline 4 for Joomla 1.5. The result is always the same, the two forms do not allow saving the settings. Mr. Pavit advised me to contact the hosting service to help me solve this problem.
You have to case other alternatives?

il problem che ho è ogni stesso: i moduli di JA News Pro e JA News futuro (i lavori di ja ben) nel mio sito non permettono di salvare l’impostazione.
Noi abbiamo provato ad eseguire alcune operazioni ma malgrado questi tentativi il risultato è sempre lo stesso, i moduli non sono salvabili.
Ho fatto questa mattina una prova installando, per scrupolo, in una sotto cartella joomla 1.5.25 con tutto il pacchetto che serve per per JA teline 4 per Joomla 1.5. Il risultato è sempre lo stesso i due moduli non permettono il salvataggio delle impostazioni. Mr. Pavit mi ha consigliato di rivolgermi al servizio hosting per aiutarmi a risovere tale problema.
Tu hai per caso altre alternative?

I got the same problem. JA news pro won’t changed while there are many news updates already. When I edit the JA news pro module and re-save the module, then it changes! Need some help why this happen and how to fix it.
unfortunatly JA wont agree that News Pro have a problem. and template have a cache problem
I have the same problem in news pro. it does not know if I changed catagory order till I go to news pro module and open it and save it,
If I updated any article I have to clear cache manually.. this is crazy.!!
