I’m running a news website using the Teline IV template and using the News Pro module to display K2 content on the front page. I have one category with 6 sub-categories that I would like to display, but because all of the titles are off different lengths, the 2nd row shows up out of alignment.

My solution was to use one instance of the module to display the first 3 sub-categories and create a second module to display the 2nd three right below it. Unfortunately, in the content selection settings on the back end, it will not let me select any of the sub-categories, except for the first two. The rest are a faded out gray as opposed to the first two which are normal opacity.

On several of my other major categories, none of the other sub-categories are available for selection either, this is the same whether or not the “fetch items from children categories” is enabled. On other categories, only one or two sub-categories are available selection, on some it is the first sub-category and on another it is the third sub-category. It does not appear that there is any pattern regarding which it allows me to select.

Any help on this issue would be very much appreciated as I am loving the template and the extension otherwise. Thank you for your time and for developing such great software.

Hello,

I think that for some reason, you can only select a category that contains a sub-category. Review all the categories that are available for selection ; you will notice that they all contain at least one sub-category.
