Hi already asked for support on this forum about another problem, but never get response…

anyway, I have another problem with the JA News Pro Module

I’m trying to use more than one module, on different pages of my website. The problem is that if I change some settings, they do not change “per module”, but change sistem wide… a quick sample:
try to create a module, call it “module 1” and set to 1 the “Columns” under “Display Settings”.
Create another module, call it “module 3” and set to 3 the “Columns” under “Display Settings”.

Now go to check the “module 1” and see that the “Columns” are now 3

This is preventing me to use this module other than in Homepage.
Is there any solution to this?

Hi zener79,

This module has a special field call profile, the module settings is saved per profile that meant if you use the same profile for two modules then you change settings for a module that changed would be applied to the other module’s settings, the solution here is simple that you should use different profiles for different modules, you can clone an existing profile to create a new one if needing.
