I use 2.5
after installation (without errors), the module is not listed in joomla modules. all other modules work fine.

I have tried to replicate your issue, i have uninstalled my Ja_News_Pro module and installed again without errors.

If you can send me via PM your super user account to the backend maybe i can check better.

fixed. not listed but I did see it in installed modules, I uninstalled it and installed again.
