It’s better if you provide your live site URL. I’m working on the unicode bug.

I dont know how you get my problem, because you perhaps have no Chinese language, and you see all words like æ°èå¿«å.æ°èå¿«å.æ°èå¿«å.æ°èå¿«å.:((

Ha Le-VietFebruary 5, 2007 at 4:06 am #214097thanks Ha Le-Viet,
There is, some joomla local developing group said it may be caused by “htmlentities”.
They said the module “events v1.2” was with same problem. and they modified all
<blockquote>$row->title = htmlentities($row->title);</blockquote>
to
<blockquote>$row->title = htmlentities($row->title, ENT_QUOTES, “UTF-8”);</blockquote>
but, I am a code idiot, please help if it is useful.and how about another problem? Ja News cant work on My IE6, the AJAX is blocked.

February 5, 2007 at 4:20 am #214098Hi tian,
Yes in your case, modify it will solve the problem, but the major problem is not everysite use “UTF-8” so I’m working on a universe solution for this. To quick fix your problem please make changes like your suggestion.
To fix IE bug, go to line 71st of janews.js and change it to
jahl.ani = new Fx.Style(jahl.div2show, 'opacity', {duration: 300, unit: ""});
. It might help, and thank you for reporting it to me.P/S: The JA Collapsed Modules you’re using is a little outdated. 😉 Download the latest version will fix a little bug inside it.
