    Hello,

    I’m simply trying to get the read more to show up on my page as shown here:
    http://template15.joomlart.com/ja_teline_ii/index.php?option=com_content&view=section&id=13&layout=blog&Itemid=197

    I have “read more” enabled in the articles parameters as well as in the JA NEWS module, yet it’s not showing up in any of the sections. I even tried in the menu to bypass the global setting and select to show read more. Nothing is working.

    Please advise.

    It’s quite aggrevating that the support, or rather, the LACK THEREOF, I’m getting regarding an issue that was sent 5 days ago.

    What’s the issue here?>:(

    a.readon {
    background: url(../images/readon-bg.gif) no-repeat left center;
    color: #555555;
    padding: 1px 2px 3px 5px;
    width: 85px;
    float: right;

    Hello,

    I looked at my source code and do not see a “read more”

    My source code shows:

    <p class=”modifydate”>
    Last Updated ( Sunday, May 10 2009 12:45 )
    </p>

    </div>

    </div> </div>
    </div>
    </div>

    On the demo, the source code shows:

    <p class=”modifydate”>

    Last Updated ( Saturday, 19 April 2008 07:37 )
    </p>

    <a href=”/ja_teline_ii/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=155:new-arrests-in-tibetan-areas-of-china&catid=84:africa&Itemid=201″ title=”New Arrests in Tibetan Areas of China” class=”readon”>
    Read more… </a>

    </div>

    So this means, that somehow, some setting it not working where it is supposed to show the “read more…”

    Hi omar_ali,

    I think this issue is from your configuration. In administrator, go to Menus -> magazine -> edit World item. In the edit page, please make sure Read more… Link is Show or use Global in Parameters (Component) tab

    OK, after going thru circles, it seems that 8 sections on this page, I needed to insert the “read more” link:
    http://template15.joomlart.com/ja_teline_ii/index.php?option=com_content&view=section&id=13&layout=blog&Itemid=197

    Problem solved.
