On my site http://www.proffshoppen.com I am apparently not able to make the news on the frontpage public. The news on the top which is scrolling works fine but under it you’ll see five articles which also is a part of the news module – but these articles won’t open unless the user logs in. How can I make this public?

The sections, categories and articles are all set to public…

Ok – I’ve noticed this problem mentioned many times on joomla.com and eventhough all access was set to public and all menu items was public too then it wasn’t until I created a new menu item, in a not visible menu, and set it to public that it all worked out…

Sounds like you might have an “ARTICLE” that is not set to public. Or at least the copy area below the “Read More” area.

In addition to Menu Items, Modules, etc…each individual article can have access limited in the PARAMETERS tab of the article.

    Just a thought,
    John.
