I was wondering is there any way to fix the text alingment problem in the attached image:

Looks liked you got text alignment set to “Justify” rather than “left” as you see in the demo example below it.

The other trick you can use is to set a standard size for your images, at least for those that will appear on the front page. If you need to use differing scales of pictures in your content, then create a “scaled” version of the image and INTRO text which will show on the front page, but which you can HIDE INTRO TEXT when they click to the content area.
