    I am not sure what the problem is with the module JAnewsticker… the module works fine if I select display articles from Joomla Content. I am trying to use RSS feeds though and no matter what I put in, I get Vietnamese headlines. Please advise. How can this be fixed? Why is it displaying feeds for a completely different site?

    you need to small modification

    open this file modulesmod_janewstickerhelper.php

    search for this code and remove it

    $options['rssUrl'] = "http://vnexpress.net/rss/gl/khoa-hoc.rss";

    Then you can show your feeds in this module.

    Thanks for that. I see that there was another post yday about the same issue.

    I responded in that post to indicate a secondary issue encountered after removing the code above where an extra line break occurs when entering the RSS feed with HeadText enabled.

    I have posted already above so perhaps the moderator could merge the threads?

    Here is a screen shot of my issue:

    I hope you made show title to yes in the Module manager. Please set it to no.

    Hi there Chavan – the Show Title in module is set to No but I would still like to show the HeadText.

    No matter if I set the module to show Title and not the HeadText or if I select to show HeadText and not the module Show Title, if anything is shown as a title my feed drops down 1 line and then the template sort of breaks by not adjusting for the logo or header-r
