We are using JA-News2 and JA-News in our website. When the character limit is reached int he description of an article shown, then the module is supposed to trim the text and insert …

However, @ the trim position and immediately before the … , we get an unreadable character (it displays as ? in Mozilla etc).

What fix can be applied so that no unreadable characters (such as ?) are shown @ the trim position?

We just upgraded to JA-Teline III v1.3 but the issue remains…

Last but not least, the category display in Ja-News2 does not follow the category order but it uses the id number ordering. For example, if category A has an id of 11 and category B has an id of 12 BUT B has been ordered before A (that is B-A), the module displays A-B (based on id ordering) and not B-A (based on actual category ordering).

I saw in another post that this was supposed to be fixed with v1.3 but the issue still remains..
