When published, JA Newsflash causes 500 Internal server error. This goes away when I unpublish – site works normally.

Other Info:
I have another extension in use on the site that I just installed today, that may have something to do with it (based on what i saw in a similar thread here)??? The extension (Ads Ticker) info can be found here:

Unable to Attach Error Log. Here’s what’s inside:

[Fri Aug 10 13:32:35 2007] Premature end of script headers: /var/chroot/home/content/k/s/o/ksolo/html/joomla/index.php

What I’ve Tried:
Published regular joomla newsflash to home page, JA newsflash to another page. Home page loads ok, other page causes 500 error.

Unpublished (not un-installed) other extension and repeated above, same results.

Would appreciate any assistance / insight.

Perhaps you may create a dummy gif file and upload it to images/ folder?

I had similiar problem but with the theme link

thanx – tried that. still getting this error ( so don’t think the missing image file is the issue)

Hi

How many content items have you got published in the newsflash category (or whatever is the category you are using for this module)? One or more?

I’ve had the same problem when I had just one item published, adding a 2nd one fixed the problem.
