Hello

I am not sure if this module is actually installed on the site and if it is it does not seem to be rotating any content.

All the necessary files seem to be in place though the module does not appear in the list of installed modules in admin.

Can anybody do a quick diagnosis for me and see what they think? Ive struggled for days with it.

Now the module seems installed ok unlike before but stops after the first piece of text. In theory it should be feeding in all the different news items but it is only doing the first one. Once that has faded out there is nothing.

any ideas?

I too am having this problem – it seems to be on a few other threads too, but without a solution. It shows the first item but nothing after that. Mine is at http://www.simonbrandon.eu

I also get occasional error messages appearing in it, but not all the time:

Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$title in /homepages/16/d201718094/htdocs/accredituk/modules/ja_newsflash/ja-newsflashloader.php on line 224

Notice: Undefined variable: flashnum in /homepages/16/d201718094/htdocs/accredituk/modules/ja_newsflash/ja-newsflashloader.php on line 357

Anyone have any ideas?

i never got it to work either. I suggest you use the

JW Ultimate Content Display module
http://extensions.joomla.org/component/option,com_mtree/task,viewlink/link_id,2484/Itemid,35/

it is free and works right out of the box.

just publish it to the top postion in the template

The Ultimate Content Display is not worth using. I spent 4 hours with it and it is buggy and difficult to work with.

Huh, I installed it in one second and it has worked perfectly with no issues or bugs,

perhaps there is another issue with your template setup that is conflicting with the module.

Yeah, I must say that I set it up quickly and got it going without bugs too
