JA Newsflash displays random newsflash item. I have 3 newsflash items published. But Newsflash does not change this item. Changing the time parameters in the module has no influence.
Any idea what to do?

I am having this same issue as well. When I refresh the browser page, it’s showing a random item, but it’s not scrolling up like I’ve set it to do.

Are there any other parameters that need to be altered to get this to work as in the demo?

Try disabling other Ajax based modules on the page. I had to disable my shoutbox to make it work :((

It’s a site I’m doing for an organization. It isn’t live yet. I turn it on just so I can test functionality, then back off again as I’m creating it.

do you have any other modules or mambot installed? If so, which ones? I’m aware that Slimbox and SlimAjax will affect the scrolling effects.

Changing the folder permission to 755 and the files to 644 cleared the problem for me. But now the text for the 2nd and succeeding headlines are showing all blurry *sigh*
