August 1, 2008 at 1:31 pm #131644I have actually tried to turn JA Newsflash off because my client doesn’t want it there. When I disable the module, I still get a transparent bar of dark color across the header image, even though no text is appearing.
This is a brand new installation which has not been “released” yet. Here is where it is located: http://www.reflectionssg.com/content/index.php
How do I get rid of that dark area in the header where the JA Newsflash rotation used to occur?
Thanks for any help you can give me.

August 5, 2008 at 8:40 pm #263963I had the same Issue and finally had to delete the graphical image to get rid of it.
Go into your file manager at your host.
the path should be something like templates/ja_rochea/images/top-bg.gifThe image file is top-bg.gif. In case you ever want it back I would download that image and save it somewhere. DO NOT CHANGE THE NAME. Keep it so if you want to try to use it later you have the same exact image and name to load back up and it will appear magically.
Then just delete the file top-bg.gif from your hosting files. That is how I fixed the issue.

August 5, 2008 at 8:51 pm #263966Thanks for the help. BTW, I used to roadrace motorcycles at the old Riverside Raceway back in the late 1980s. That place was a hoot. Anyway, I’ll let you know if this works for me.
