thx</blockquote>Hi ghog,
I guess this is only by caching, you can try to remove caches also try to disable cache for the module itself.
Let me know if the problem still there.June 18, 2012 at 11:26 am #457839Just had the same issue, cleaned JAT3 cache and all site-wide cache but nothing helped.
Then tried your tips to set caching to “Don’t cache” under Advanced Options for the module itself,
and…. VOILA! Now it works.Can anyone explain though why cleaning JAT3 cache (and all other) plus having site in Develop mode
still gave me those problems?321fly Friend321fly

July 24, 2012 at 1:57 pm #462057Thanks that fixed similar issue! Non articles were displaying in Newsticker.
After searching decades of threads found the solution.May be you can give a hint why odd symbols display in Newsticker?
Similar symbols were noticed in article headings in other JA modules.P.S. web-site uses cyrillic language

July 26, 2012 at 10:07 pm #462340public $log_path = ‘/var/logs’;
public $tmp_path = ‘/var/tmp’;As set to in all sites on my server, i keep tmp and logs outside webroot….
Same as other site in other words 🙂July 26, 2012 at 10:16 pm #462341Just now noticed, if i go to my Blog section (component/k2/item) the newsticker is updating and scrolling as supposed!?!
But it seem to be ONLY on that page it’s working.. :pJuly 27, 2012 at 8:38 am #462387More info:
Restored now to a new subdirectory and it works excellent!
So there’s seem to be some problem when i restore to the ROOT folder of my webserver
(where the site for my domain of course has to be)
Checked paths & cache.. only seem to be JA_Newsticker and JA News Featured, everything else looks ok!
Ideas? Anyone?AuthorPostsViewing 10 posts - 1 through 10 (of 10 total)This topic contains 10 replies, has 5 voices, and was last updated by sjoroos 12 years, 5 months ago.
