Hi guys, I’ve updated JA Newsticker at my Telline III website from 1.0.2 to 1.0.5 and no matter what rss feed I put they all point to VN Express News. Only solution was to rollback to 1.0.2 and it came back to normal.

You might want to take a look into the code.

this issue is fixed in development version, we are hard working to test before releasing.Now please help me making a quick fix for your module. module/mod_janewsticker/helper.php and remove the following code

Just in case anyone else reads this post, the module still does the same thing in the JA_Seleni template as of 1/17/12. You can fix the problem by removing the code above from the file (approx line 363), or commenting it out in case you are uncomfortable removing code. You can also hard code your RSS link by replacing the URL; http://vnexpress.net/rss/gl/khoa-hoc.rss with your own URL. You’ll just have to change the URL in the file instead of in the module parameters if you ever want to change it in the future.
