March 7, 2014 at 9:16 pm #525843You can try making the update yourself
Take a backup of your website with akeeba backup then install it on localhost and make the update

March 8, 2014 at 6:19 am #525867The Joomla 3.2 version for JA Nex on T3 Framework is available to download
To update your website you have different options – you can install the Joomla 3.2 quickstart version and then make a manually update/import of your articles, or you can install on your Joomla 3.2 upgraded the new T3 framework and then install new template – modules and plugins –
You need to test the second option on a localhost environment then work on the live site, take always a backup

March 8, 2014 at 11:59 am #525882Well, copying the new quickstart over the old files won’t that mess up all my tweaks and changes to the site?
I was told that joomla 3.x should update it self to newest version with click of a button, but its not.I have backup of the sql file and html files, now i should just figure out how to do this. Not shure how…
Thanks for answers during the weekend!! 🙂

You don’t need to copy over the new files
You can install it from scratch then import your contents
Quickstart installation install Joomla core plus the template you can choose to not install sample data and then import all your contents from the old sql backup
I can suggest to hire a developer to make these updates, if you are not able to complete it in the correct way

March 18, 2014 at 10:35 am #527136pavit, im not that good of a sitemanager that i will be able to do this without any help.
I just started with this site about 1 year ago, and have no prior knowledge to backup, reinstall or upgrades.
Did some tries to upgrade, but it ended up in a completely down site. So i had to put in backup-html files and backup database again. But, i was under the impression that joomla should upgrade itself from 3.x and up?
Kind regards,
Frode

Yes Joomla has already it in components >> Joomla!Update >> but as i said, first to update you need to be sure that extensions and templates supports the upgrade

March 18, 2014 at 4:18 pm #527202Download the template or the quickstart what is based on T3 (not T3v2) but works well with J3.2.
T3v2 based NEX is for J3.1 and a year old.
You are right, it is awfully confusing but that is the way what works.1 user says Thank You to palos for this useful post
