Some users are complaining that my pages at http://www.contrastnewspaper.com is cutting off on the right side of their screen, Joomla 2.5 is set to Auto. Ctl – fixes the problem but must users will not know this, is there a way to fix this or add a button in the header so that users can click on it to resize their browser until the page displays properly? I tried CPanel but that causes the pahes to display incorrectly.

    The site is http://www.contrastnewspaper.com

So that I can see if I can assist you, please set “Optimize CSS” to “No” within your Template Manager–General Settings

Okay, in looking at this a bit more closely . . . . at some point (at lower screen resolutions), things ARE going to get squashed/cut off due to the size of certain images/elements used.

You COULD implement a pop up message at site load that alerts users as to the “best screen resolution for viewing this site” or with instructions on how to reduce viewing size (i.e. Ctrl – )

That sound like a good Idea, do you have a script or plugin to create the pop up?

I believe there are a number of options listed within the Joomla Extensions Directory
