First time posting here 🙂

I am working on my site and I was wondering if there is anyway to adjust the width of the Video Blackbox that pops out. My reason is that most of the Youtube videos aspect ratio doesn’t match with the one in JA Obelisk template, which leaves black bars on the left and right. Is there anyway to increase the size of this box or adjust is so that the videos play in the right Youtube Aspect Ratio? It’s also the same with the responsive smaller version of the site. Hope someone can help me with a fix :). Thank you!

Hi steparu,

Yes. When you download and install the JA Obelisk template, you can open templatesja_obeliskcssk2.css file, change lines:

div.itemImageBlock div.itemVideoBlock div.itemVideoEmbedded iframe {
width: 570px;
}

to

div.itemImageBlock div.itemVideoBlock div.itemVideoEmbedded iframe {
width: 560px;
}

The Youtube video will look better on K2 popup view when playing.
