Hi,
I want to migrate the template JA Olivine to Joomla 2.5
I’ve seen how to migrate templates to 2.5 like ja_tiris or ja_nex, but the structure files are different.
The problems with this template are:
– change templateDetails.xml
– index.php
– include_once (dirname(__FILE__).DS.’ja_vars_1.5.php’); in Joomla 2.5 is the same?
– include_once (dirname(__FILE__).DS.’/ja_templatetools_1.5.php’); in Joomla 2.5 is the same?
– ja_menus folder.

I’ve seen the normal steps: http://docs.joomla.org/Upgrading_a_Joomla_1.5_template_to_Joomla_2.5 but with your framework i need more information.

Could you explain me how to migrate this template to 2.5? We normally use a lot of your templates, if you can explain me how to migrate the templates we can send you the templates migrated to 2.5.

Joomla 1.5 and 2.5 are so different, there are some threads in forum discussing about upgrading to J2.5, you can follow those references:

Hi,
I don’t want to know how to migrate joomla 1.5 to 2.5, i want to kwnow how to migrate this template to 2.5.
The templates are different, and the t3 framework has changed. There are some templates that was not migrated to 2.5 like this, i want to know how migrate this one or if you can do it.

The problem is with de Joomlart templates that contains the ja_templatetools_1.5.php and ja_vars_1.5.php files.
There are some templates with this files and we can’t migrate the template and the only way is adapt another template..
The Joomlart templates that contains core files that’s not too complicate to migrate because there are more templates migrated with this structure.
