Well guys im fairly new to joomla, and im learning how to setup template from scratch without the help from ja’s “quickstart”, but i do installed another copy of “ja onepage quickstart” as reference.
What im encountering now are:
1) i have problem making the custom html mod to be displayed on my homepage in position “onepage” (i already assigned this mod to my menu item), however i can make it display when i changed the position to “footer” or “position-1” pos, i just change the pos around to make sure that my custom html is working, so this is kinda weird..why it could be displayed in “footer” pos but not in “onepage” pos as it should be. What am i missing here? Is there any difference between scratch ver and quickstart ver?
2) I noticed that the custom html mod i created does not comes with an proper “id” in source html, instead it shows “modid#”, for example “mod91” (because my mod id was 91), where by what i saw in the “quickstart” version, the custom html mod inherit mod’s title as its “id”, for instant, “introduction”. Where do i set those thing?
Really appreciate if anyone could lend me a hand, thanks in advance.
