On the frontpage are 2 twitter modules (mod_jatwitter)
Reloading this page takes 10 to 15 seconds
On the other pages the twitter modules are disabled, en the load time is normal.

When I switch off the twitter modules on the frontpage the loading times are normal.

Settings twitter module:

Load ajax: no
Show limit items: 3
Caching on, 2 min

System:

caching on
gzip on

What can I do to fix this isue?

try turning off Caching, gzip.

try posting where the twitter com came from & post this in JA Opal.

Now you are using two twitter modules, only one is really slow.

What happends if you only use one twitter module? Maybe there are conflicting with one another.

Site http://www.stichtingpromotieafrikarally.nl/ is live, but the load times are still slow.
The first time you load the site it takes about 10-15 seconds to load the front page with the 2 twitter modules (mod_jatwitter version 1.0.0)
I have to use 2 twiiter modules.
When I switch the twitter modules off the page loads fast.
The site is based on ja-opal.

Is there a solution or a work around for this problem?

Hi there,

I recon that it could be a problem of the module competability. Check the author’s site of the module and see if there’s similar cases around, and/or if there’s a fix for the issue.
