    Hi!

I’m opening this thread because I came across with a problem while trying to install a template in localhost with LAMP in a Linux operating system.

I followed all the steps of Akeeba Backup and I only had an issue overwriting “configuration.php” so I had to do it manually.

Once on the site, I can see the content, but not the css styles, just a blank design. Does anybody know what could be the problem and how can I fix it?

I’m not sure if it may be related to the overwriting issue that mentioned. Maybe I have to change manually the directory roots in some files that didn’t get done.

I’ll appreciate a lot any advice you can give me.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi

Can you check if you have mentioned livesite in configuration.php. If it is specified, remove it and check if the styling gets applied.

Thanks for your answer himangi! Anyway, in configuration.php it is mentioned as “var $live_site = ‘ ‘;” so I think thats not the problem here. Any other idea?

    Hi,

I am not sure what can be an issue in that case.. Can you please post the issue on Joomla forums, I guess Joomla experts on Joomla forums may know some other reason behind this..

On second thoughts, before posting the issue on Joomla forums, can you check if your css file is present in the template?
