I am running Joomla 1.5.23
My site recently has started to display incorrectly in Internet Explorer.
If you view the home page in Fire Fox, Safari, Chrome etc no issues.
But when you view in Internet Explorer the Home Page is all messed up.
I had my friend say it was probably due to the JA Slideshow module as it is out of date. I have tried to update it but it is wanting extra subscription to download the latest version.
What are your thoughts on this.
Thanks,
James
May 31, 2011 at 3:40 pm #393918I pulled the latest version of JA Slideshow from another template and the home page in Internet Explorer is still messed up?
See attached images.
Thanks,

i dont think there is any error because of JA Slideshow module,check it first.June 1, 2011 at 2:00 pm #394133I have geo blocking on which country are you in (Vietnam)? I can allow that country, just let me know. I am sure it is not the Slideshow now as well as I have updated it and the home page is still messed up.

i am in India.
when you unblock it please let me know.June 2, 2011 at 2:08 pm #394332OK, you should be able to access it now.
Let me know if you still have any difficulties.
Thanks very much.
June 2, 2011 at 11:54 pm #394403OK, I have uninstalled the slideshow and the bottom module look the way they should. The lower modules and slideshow look fine in all other browsers. Something in the JA Slideshow II Module is causing the problem in I.E but I have no clue to what it is.
June 3, 2011 at 1:48 am #394408Also how do I make the spacing with the slideshow to be less? Currently about 1.5″ spacing in the green between the text.
Anyhow let me know if you have any ideas for me to try.
Thanks,
I was able to adjust in mod_jaslideshow2 but don’t see where to adjust for the bottom part now. Going to go get some sleep and try again tomorrow.

you need to make changes in Dark-green.css for spacing problem as:#ja-slideshow {
background-color: #8BBE31;
height: 200px;
}June 6, 2011 at 5:04 pm #394953I have fixed the module spacing…Thank you.
Any luck on the Internet Explorer issue from above? As the home page is still messed up in I.E but every other browser likes it.
Thanks,
