Any idea how to fix this issue so it is capable of running in IE?

You seem to have some modules where you have pasted stuff in from ms word. If in IE you do a view source you will see big areas highlighted in green which give the game away such as this below

When you past something in from Word or similar you may not be able to see it but it contains all sorts of html formatting. Most browser seem to be able to work this out but IE tries to parse it. There is a special button in tinyMCE dedicated to pasting in stuff from wordprocessors but it is not enabled by default. You have to go into the plugin manager and in the seetings for tinyMCE change the editor mode from advanced to extended. When you return to a html module or article you will see lots of new icons and one of those is a little clipboard with a “w” on it. That is the button you use for pasting from word.

For now though you will need to go through your custom html modules and articles and find the ones where you have pasted stuff in. If you presst the html button in the editor you will quickly see th problematic code. You wil either have to strip all that out (I can see at least 5 problematic modules/articles) or re-create them using the paste from word button and remove the old versions.
