We purchased the JA Rave theme last year and have been having intermittent problems with JA Popup.
Unfortunately, now the problem is totally consistent across all browsers. The plugin is broken and just shows the syntax. The entire plugin now does not work. Can you tell me how to fix this please?
Joomla version is: 1.5.22
JA Popup Version is: 1.0.2Attached is a screenshot of the problem I am having and my JA Popup settings.
Is there a new version of JA Popup that fixes this and if so how can I get it? If not, what are my options for something similar in behavior that I can use instead?
Attached are screenshots of the issue and the code I am using to display the popups.
We are trying to launch this site live next week so it would be very helpful if we could get some support on this. We have renewed our subscription in order to get support.
Thanks,
Andy-

June 17, 2011 at 7:01 am #396846Hi Abalto!
I have checked the site and seen that it works well. You have fixed it? Please give solution if so. Thanks.
June 17, 2011 at 3:48 pm #396950No it’s not fixed. That’s the funny thing. It’s intermittent. Go back and view it using several different browsers and refresh… at some point it will break. The client is quite upset about this.
BTW can you tell me what browser and version you are using?

I have checked via FF4, IE9, Chrome. Please tell me which browsers the problem appears?
June 20, 2011 at 2:42 pm #397429Myself, my business partner and the client get the break it in IE 8 (ver IE 8 ver: 8.0.6001.18702)
I have tested and have this issue using the following browsers: Firefox 4.0.1, IE 8.0.6001.18702, Chrome 12.0.742.100
As I said, it’s not consistent, but if you keep refreshing the page it will break in all of the above mentioned browser versions eventually. Specifically the client is using the above IE version I mentioned. Asking him to upgrade his browser is not an option.
BTW, open the link up http://linux5.hypmedia.com/quintek/administrator in all 3 browsers, once the page is open once, refresh and I believe it will break for you then. That is what is happening for me. If you want me to shoot a screen video and post it, let me know.
Any ideas? Is there a newer version of the plugin I can install to see if that helps fix the issue?
Thanks so much!

June 22, 2011 at 2:19 am #397733Hi Abalto!
We have fixed this bug by changing order of T3 plugin in Admin -> extensions -> plugin manager. Change T3 to after Popup and the bug is fixed. Please check.
Thanks.

Hi There,
Thank you very much for looking into this. The plugin now works in IE and Firefox, but in Chrome when you click on most of the images they disappear altogether. Here is a video of the problem I encountered >> 13942
At least this is workable for now.
Any idea why the order of plugins made a difference (just so I know if I encounter something similar in the future).
Best,
Andy

June 24, 2011 at 2:16 am #398136I don’t see the problem in your video. I’m using Chrome latest version. T3 must be ordered to very bottom of the list because it is using cache mode. If you don’t want please disable T3 cache. Thanks.
