Hi

I have installed the Puresite Quickstart template successfully. I can access the administrator panel and make modifications, however the public live website always has a 404 Error? The 404 error suggests that a component cannot be found. I installed the sample data, but I’m not too sure if it transferred across during the joomla quickstart installation. The reason why I mention it is because there are no sample articles listed under the Article Manager? Is this right? Any advice will be appreciated.

Hi Scolmac,
I checked your site and did not see any data were inserted .
I think that you should build a new site and make sure you will install sample data during installation process.

Thanks for your response.

There is a problem in the Puresite quickstart package. During the installation process, the program fails to load the “default English (GB) Sample data”. I have reinstalled the package from scratch a numerous amount of times. I have also downloaded a fresh ‘Quickstart’ copy of the file from the Joomlart website. The only way I am able to load sample data is if I choose “Brochure English (GB) Sample Data”. However the appearance of the live website is not the same as the demo version and I would prefer to load the demo version. Could you please assist?
