JA Purity template is not working correctly on Internet Explorer 8.

It works fine on IE7, Chrome & Firefox – but appears uneven on IE8.

Eg. http://www.freevolunteerabroad.org/mad4joomla/

When i select a fixed width of “widescreen”, the header, logo, hornnav, footer etc are all still pinned to the absolute left, whilst the rest of the page fits into the pre set pixel width.

Anyone got any idea how to fix this?

Hello,
I just did this change on 2 Joomla Art templates and this seems to have fixed the IE8 need to be in compatibility mode…

Guys you should sticky this and add it to all your forums so people know how to update the template easily.
