July 9, 2013 at 3:57 pm #188804Hi,
I have made some changes to the JA_Purity template.css file that are not appearing in the front end screens.
I am just using the basic JA_Purity (or at least a copy of it called myjapurity) and I am sure I have edited the correct file
templates/myjapurity/css/template.css
I have cleared the T3 cache and also set the Enable Development Mode parameter to Yes.
I have checked using the Firefox Inspector facility and the old version of the template.css file is being used.
Can you suggest a remedy please.
Thanks for your help.

July 10, 2013 at 9:13 am #498524Hi Saguaros,
This is the site url: http://boltonchoral.org.uk/new25
The changes I made were to the colour scheme of the bottom spotlight.
I have just looked at the site this morning and the template has been updated and all the changes applied!
Could there have been a problem with the cache only being purged after a few hours?
So I think this problem can be closed now.
Best Wishes
John

July 10, 2013 at 10:02 am #498530Hi John,
Yes, the problem seems due to the cache, pls make sure that after making change, you clean JAT3 cache in back-end, disable cache in modules , clean browser cache.
If you are in development stage, you can enable the Development Mode in template manager and you will see the change immediately.
Regards

July 10, 2013 at 11:32 am #498544Hi Saguaros,
The only one of these steps I haven’t been doing is clearing the browser cache. I have now set the brrowser cache to be cleared on exit.
Thanks for your help
Best Wishes
John 🙂
