August 13, 2013 at 3:12 pm #189695Hi
One of my users says that she has the message ‘Green T3 & Framework’ displayed in the top left hand corner of the header of the JA Purity II template I have set up.
I have tried a number of different PC’s and browsers and have never seen this message.
Does anyone know why this message is being displayed and how I can switch it off?
Regards
John

August 13, 2013 at 3:23 pm #502104Hi,
It’s almost impossible to find out what’s wrong without been able to see the problem, maybe it’s a conflict or something else.

August 13, 2013 at 3:38 pm #502107Hi Marios,
Unfortunately this is a rather important user – the head of the organisation for whom I am developing the web site. No one else invovled in the testing has encountered this problem, but I have no idea how many users are likely to be affected when we go live.
I can collect more information and a screen shot as I live close by to the user.
Rather than trying to resolve any conflict, would it not be possible to just disable the code that generates the message. It seems an odd message and I doubt whether I will ever need it. Have you any idea which section of code is likely to be generating the message?
Regards
John

August 13, 2013 at 3:49 pm #502108Hi John,
Check the browser version, i am pretty sure you won’t see this message on a modern browser.

August 13, 2013 at 3:55 pm #502109Marios,
Thanks – I will check the browser. I suspect that it is an old one and will suggest that I update it
I will let you know the outcome.
Thanks again

August 14, 2013 at 10:49 pm #502261Hi Marios,
I have checked out the browser and it is actuall IE9 running on Windows Vista.
This is really strange as I use IE9 on Windows 7 as one of my browsers for testing purposes and have never seen this message.
Could there be a configuration setting in IE9 to display this type of message? Otherwise, I am at a loss to explain the difference between the 2 IE9 environments.
The message by the way is T3 Framework (with the T3 in green) and underneath is a line in smaller font saying something like faster, more efficient.
Regards
John

August 15, 2013 at 4:26 am #502286Hi John,
It seems that the default logo of our T3v2 framework is appearing on your website. You can remove it by opening plugins/system/jat3/jat3/base-themes/default/css/template.css, find lines:
h1.logo a {
background: url(../images/logo-t3.gif) no-repeat left;
display: block;
height: 28px;
width: 184px;
}Change to background: none; , then clear JAT3 cache.

August 15, 2013 at 9:33 pm #502383Hi Marios,
The fix worked.
I still do not understand why the T3 logo was being displayed but at least the problem has been resolved.
Thanks for all your help.
This thread can now be closed.
Best Wishes
John;)
