Guys, cant seem to install the JA Purity II Stable v1.2 template, I have no problem installing any other template, but when i try installing this one, it takes very long and then just goes to a blank page.

Am I doing anything wrong?

This file http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=864 is only the “quickstart”
and this is the template file http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=568
it is possible to have confused ?

Do you actually install the “quickstart” or T3 framework using the Joomla installer? It looks like the files in that zip should maybe just be copied into your joomla directory on the web server, right?

When it says it’s for Joomla 1.5.15, what about the newer versions?

Quickstart file is the demo site clone. Installed as you install Joomla.

If you are installing purity II template on an already installed joomla. Use the Template zip (size 498 kb) and JA Menu plugin from >> http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downloads.php?do=cat&id=145

Again, remember, quickstart cannot be installed through the joomla backend, Quickstart is nothing but joomla latest version with added sample data so that the installation will look same as purity II demo.

Thanks, Arvind. That clears it up. I’ve seen the original Purity template, but Purity II has me curious. I will install the template and JA menu plugin, and see what it’s like.
