    I can not get JA Purity II to adjust for mobile/handheld. I’ve tested on smartphone and tablet but I just get the desktop layout. I do see the button to toggle between desktop and mobile versions, but nothing changes when I use the button. assumed I need not do anything to achieve this, having read in documentation:

    “The 2 mobile ready layouts:

    handheld.php – a default layout design for handheld devices;
    iphone.php – a default layout design for iphone;

    Both mobile ready layouts use their own blocks and their own stylesheets located in dedicated special folders. The scripts powering the framework will detect the mobile device and will load the proper layout. You can always check these two for yourself with your phone online in the JA Purity II demo page.”

    I’d be grateful for any advice. Joomlart technical staff will see that I have provided them with a superadministrator login account.

    Using latest T3 Framework on Joomla version 3.3.3.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

    Please make sure that responsive layout is available in T3 framework only. Since JA Purity II uses T3v2 framework, you must check the mobile layout in real device like iphone or android device instead.

    Thanks Adam. I’m not sure what you mean by “Please make sure that responsive layout is available in T3 framework only”. I can’t find a setting for “responsive layout”. However, I noticed that layout for Android was disabled in T3 Framework under Profiles, so I changed the setting to “Iphone” (being the most appropriate setting I could find for an Android smartphone) and this has indeed worked as far as my Android smartphone is concerned – I have a mobile-friendly layout. I also tested with my Android tablet but that still uses the default desktop layout, although this is OK for this device.

    Are there any more appropraite settings I should look for? Thanks again.

    I don’t see that I’ll get any further response and as mobile is OK on smartphones now I’ll count this one as solved. Thanks for the help.

    Hi,

    As you can see in the bottom right banner during weekend, we doesn’t provide support during Friday 18:00 – Monday 9:00. About the responsive layout, what I mean is with responsive layout, you can resize your browser to see how it adapt small screen. In old version T3v2, there are only 3 static layouts : desktop / handheld / iphone, you cannot resize your browser to see how your page elements adapt the screen resolution and there’s any layout for tablet device as well.
