2days ago My new creaded website got hacked, I am using japurity ii template. hacker inter trough http://www.mydomain.com/administrator/index.php and I see hacked by kabus truk
Now I want to change administrator url from administrator to anything else.. I want to do it manually.
Really Joomla has security Problem…though its a award winning content management system.
Please Don’t reply like use jsequre or ksequre. if Possible post answer how to change administrator url manually. and what should have to include in ,htaccess please don’t reply like add the following line. into .htaccess if possible post full version .htaccess is not large file.
I am trying to find out solution but not getting any help. most of the security issue in incomplete.

This is not really possible. Well, it is possible but it is not easy. It will cause most of your components to fail.
There are several measures you can take to prevent hacking. Most are achieved through .htaccess (If you are on apache).

As an easy and quick solution – you can hide the /administrator/ path by this plugin, for example.
Actually I’m using this plugin, now http://www.mysite.com/administrator/ or http://www.mysite.com/administrator/index.php is not accessible without the token word. It’s easy and should help a little bit.
Also look in Security section of JED for more tools and add-ons.
