Hi all,
Am new here, but a little experienced in Joomla althoughI am not able to create templates myself (well never tried) so have joined here after Rockettheme to try another template club and see what differences there maybe regarding obviously designs, and more importantly forum communication. Unfortunately you cannot like most template clubs have a glance at forums relating to templates to see if they are any good or not, which is a shame, maybe this could be considered by the developers for people who have not joined yet to entice them in for example just screenshots of the particular template they advertise regarding topic headings (not the actual answers) so prospective new members like me can get an idea of support?.
Anyhow, to the question I have, I downloaded the JA Sanidine 1 template for joomla 1.5, after a little play I noticed that you use Community Builder 1.1 and not the latest release which is 1.2 rc4 which is a public release and a shame not to have in quick install package. I assume there are no problems with Community Builder 1.2 rc4 within this template ? – but on downlaoding is great you updated joomla 1.5 to the 1.9 version ! (latest security release)
Also would be nice if you stated that the download for 1.5 joomla was not purely native and required legacy support for some of the features which I assume would be just the Fireboard forum and Community Builder 1.1? It would be nice as myself I just assume that an install for joomla 1.5 would be completely native – but am new, but be of use in template description.
And I think just 1 last thing, on the download sources Fireboard as in main component and the latest post module is not in there, although not a pain normally but as fireboard via Joomla extensions link is unavailable, would have been handy to have. If any one is sweet enough please add links to wft ufft top 10 or fb latest module, so I can if wish can do a manual install of above items as I beleive are not in package for a manual install.
The fact that the users are all added is a pain on quick install package, is there an easy way to remove all this so just have a cleanish install, like so many users specifically the admin user I may be missing something, but is why I joined 😛
Sorry for all paragraphs starting with A, and I do like the look of the template it looks very nice and seems to load pretty fast regarding webspeed on my website.
I know it sounds a little like a criticism, but is not really, but I believe needs adding some food for thought for developers. If someone can explain to me how to make a custom install of joomla with the relevant updates needed for this installaton I will quite happily give it ago and provide a download that admins can approve here so an option in there download section.
Best regards,
Moixa

Alternatively, I’ve not tried this, but it may be possible to just extract the new updated modules and overwrite the folders within the quickstart package and install.
Granted, it’s not something you should have to do.
