The faq itself is bugged…

Q: What’s a module style? And module class suffix?
A: Almost modules offer you a parameter called Module Class Suffix. Set a value for this parameter and you will have your module’s appearance differs from the others. JA templates often provide you some module styles which can be found in Module Styles area of the guide.

Ok… now wheres that section?

Also, wheres the section talkin about JA News config?

Am not a pro.. The section being talked about there is you download the JA Newsflash model. when you open the Module, You will be able to edit the properties. -hilite1 and hilite2 in this case gives you have the option of turning what people see on your main site black or grey.. but the one i think works best is hilite1 which is black and white text.

The hilite is just there for you to play around colors that suit your needs. i hope this in not too late.. I think the JA News Module is for people who have developers accounts at least that what i have seen…

Hi… I had another question regarding JA Newsflash – and I would REALLLLLLY appreciate any help I can get. I am sleep deprived here.
Thankfully I have the JA Newsflash on and no errors showing – BUT… I am only getting one Newsflash displayed there. Nothing is moving or scrolling, even though I set it to scroll up like in the demo.

I am sure I am missing something simple. But what?

This is the only thing I see-

Good for you. Sometimes my ja news module stops scrolling and then i just leave it and starts again… can i see the site you working on? I have used these modules on two sites and its been great.

YEAH same here. The news scroller was working fine when I finished our beta, working fine when we launched the site, and has just stopped working. No one’s touched the code since the launch. A bug, JA?

Guys im struggling, I can install the templte but cant get the newsflash and fancy imaging to display on the top of the front page. It only shows up on the right handed column. Can someone assist with this? Please help!! What is the module position supposed to be?

For the love of God isn’t there a useful user guide anywhere for this template!?! The one in the download section is missing several class codes and has other careless errors strewn about. I’m finding that this problem seems to be fairly common with the 6 or 8 templates that I’ve downloaded and I’m not happy about it.

Bottom line- We’re paying for a product and it is not unreasonable to expect that the product and its support materials be complete and usable.

I guess I’m off to wade through the css files or php files or wherever I’m supposed to know where to go, and do your job for you… >:(

Try turning off Search Engin Friendly URLs in Global Configurations.

I had this problem too and found I could get it going again by turning off Search Engin Friendly URL function in global configurations through back-end.

Hi guys

I would be extremely grateful if someone could help me work out why I’m getting ‘Invalid Token’ error messages when I use the Poll module. Also (and I don’t know if this is related), I can’t get the forms or register new user (from the front end) to work. I have tried at least four fresh installs today (with most recent quick install of Quillaja) to no effect. I’m using a Mac OS X and testing on local server running off MAMP using PHP 5.2.1. Can anyone please help me.
