July 27, 2010 at 7:17 am #152889Hi all, guess I am doing this a little backwards, but I want to show off my latest creation using the fabulous new template from JoomlArt called, JA Rasite.
Take a peek, and let me know what you think:
Best regards,
Will KeyworthPS: I already nominated it for SOTM, and I hope you’ll do the same!

July 29, 2010 at 3:40 am #351127I like it, although the padding below “L i v e T h e “W e l l R o u n d e d” L i f e !” seems a little much

Find myself agreeing with Aaron about the gap between your title and your first piece of text!
Overall though its a very well laid out site….billyk Friendbillyk

July 31, 2010 at 9:09 pm #351348HI there billyk,
Thanks for the nice site. I liked the pictures. I have always liked nature. Like mfcphil I have to admit that I didn’t know what a yurt was, and was curious to see what would show up. I had actually heard of it before, but forgotten. I guess it is not something that you hear about or read about often.
1 user says Thank You to sunrise for this useful post

August 1, 2010 at 12:24 pm #351378Hi again,
I had another look at the site, and for one thing thought that getting one of those yurts would be really nice.
One more comment on the site, on the top there is a link to “more testimonials”. The color for “over” seems a bit dark to me and is difficult to read. Not really that important, but maybe something to consider.

August 1, 2010 at 9:59 pm #351405I liked all the photos, the site flowed nicely. Nice background and navigation especially right navigation in pages I like. Lots of great information to help inform people. Now I know I could live in a yurt!
on firefox the text below the search bar overflows onto the content page:
“The clean, sacred geometry of living
in a yurt is absolutely magical”
– Deb, From the Cape…more ”
————————————Keep up the great work.
p.s. I knew what a yurt was. jajajaja

August 3, 2010 at 6:34 am #351550Hi Will
Really nice site, congratulations. Great use of ‘woodland’ color scheme which matches the photo gallery perfectly.
Those Yurts are awesome!
By the way, something odd in the footer area … it appears that the descender on the ‘g’ is chopped off:
I checked in Firefox and Safari and it was the same.
Congratulations on the site again.

August 3, 2010 at 10:35 am #351585awesome. thanks for your vote when (if?) the time comes. i thought i just read a thread that said the competition was on hold?
i fixed the cut off “g” in the lower menu. i did notice that, and neglected to fix it…it is an eye for detail with stuff like that that separates the amateurs from the pros!
