October 10, 2011 at 10:27 am #169518Hello,
For a module I need to use the debug position in the JA Rave template. From what I understand is that the module (which is directly connected as an external link to one of the menu items) – when placed in the debug position – should only be seen (in this case as a pop up window) once you click on that particular menu item. All works well, except that the module orginally displays a button which shouldn’t be seen anywhere in the template when using the debug position. In this case it does however. The button also shows all the way at the bottom.
Ofcourse I first contacted the person who made the module and he went out of his way to fix the problem, but in the end he concluded that if the code <position>debug</position> was in the templateDetails.xml file (which it is) … it should be working fine (apparently it isn’t 😉 )
Can anyone help me with this by either pinpointing what the problem could be or by coming up with another solution so this module shows as a pop up by clicking on a menu button and not as a button anywhere else on my site (for example using a secret page or whatever).
Thanks!

October 10, 2011 at 9:06 pm #418334Hi arckopo!
The easiest and best way is to install out JA Extension manager and it makes the update process painless!
Try that and let me know how you get on, then we can [proceed from there.
OK?
Thanks!arckoo Friendarckoo
